UNBOUND Launch Celebration

Join the MassArt community to celebrate the public launch of UNBOUND: The Campaign for the Bakalar & Paine Galleries which has raised $7 million towards a $12 million goal. The festivities will include the opening of two outstanding exhibitions;

A Century of Style: Masterworks of Poster Design spans the breadth of the art poster development from the 1890s to today. These colorful and vibrant lithographs have been selected by MassArt Foundation Director Robert Bachelder from his remarkable collection of vintage posters.

Encircling the World: Contemporary Art, Science, and the Sublime is a multidisciplinary exhibition featuring over a dozen international artists whose work is rooted in scientific inquiry. Playing in the realm of experience beyond the measurable – the sublime – they remind us that we can imagine far more than we can ever know.
